Gymnastics is a sport that involves exercises requiring strength, flexibility, balance and control.  It has often been referred to as "the hardest sport in the world". People watch with awe at the skills demonstrated by elite gymnasts and wonder how they can make it look so easy.

Corner House is the oldest gym in the midwest, dating back to the early 1950's. Jeff Jorgensen, current owner and coach, began working at Corner House in 1976 as a coach and then bought the gym in 1984. He is nationally recognized as a coach and has assisted in gymnastics clinics in both Alaska and Hawaii. His coaching staff are veterans in the sport of gymnastics, all either participating in the sport themselves or coaching for multiple years.

The coaches at Corner House are committed to teaching the fundamentals of the sport and the goal is for the kids to have fun and have the opportunity to compete. Corner House is an affiliate of Amerikids and competes in gymnastics meets in the central Midwest.
