  FAQ

How do I pay for Corner House classes?

We accept cash or check. Sorry, no credit cards. Payment is made on a month-to-month basis and due on the first week of the month.

What should my child wear for class?

Girls should come dressed in a leotard and boys should wear gym shorts and t-shirt.

Will my child have the opportunity to compete?

Absolutely! Corner House participates and also hosts competitions. Most competitions take place locally, but there are some that require some travel - Omaha for example. Corner House also hosts the Iowa State Fair tumbling meet which occurs on the last Saturday of the fair every year. This is open to all ages and skill levels.

What are your term dates?

Corner House classes run year round.

Can we join class at any time?

Yes! Since our classes are running year round, children can join at any time. Our coaches will make sure that they are brought up to speed and acclimated to the class.

Can parents watch?

Parents are encouraged to watch, as long as it doesn't distract the gymnasts. Generally, the older children are less distracted by their parents/family members watching than the younger ones. For the preschoolers, parents can still watch, but we ask that if it is distracting for your child, let them get used to the class and try watching later.

What is your ratio of children to coaches?

7 to 1/gymnast to coach ratio. This allows the coaches to help improve individual skills for each gymnast.
